Welcome

Hello Internet,

I’m Jay Goldstein. I use they/them pronouns. I work in technology (mostly software development) at Impact Institute. It’s an ambitious organization with a mission to fix the economy by including the non-financial value and costs of everything. Outside of work, I take an interest in – let’s say – alternative ways of collaborating between humans.

I was previously a PhD research student in the Astrophysics and Space Research group at the University of Birmingham. I worked on research related to Gravitational Waves, which are, well, waves in space – I mean, waves made of space – by, er, gravity, sort of. Totally real and measured by giant lasers or spinny, dead stars. (Stars that are dead – not battle stations).

I have too many hobbies are some of that results in pictures that you can see on the art page. Likely even more out of date and certainly less coherent is the blog. Truly, the only real recommendation is to check out my recipes.
